Dr. Alicia Chisholm
Originally from Cole Harbour and with roots in Cape Breton, Dr. Chisholm was born and raised in Nova Scotia. After graduating from Dalhousie University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Chemistry, she moved to Montreal to pursue her dream of studying Dentistry at the prestigious McGill University. During her time at McGill Dr. Chisholm was heavily involved in student leadership and community volunteering. She won several awards and scholarships, one of which was presented to the student demonstrating the most empathy and the strongest commitment to the ethical practice of dentistry. Since graduating in 2020, Dr. Chisholm has worked in the bustling cities of Ottawa and Toronto, and is very excited to bring her skill and expertise back home.
Dr. Chisholm’s treatment philosophy is patient-centred and strongly emphasizes education, communication, and prevention. She has been known for her ability to put even the most nervous patients at ease, and when seated in her chair you can expect a listening ear, a gentle touch, and the highest attention to detail.
A lifelong learner, the pursuit of continuing dental education is of paramount importance to Dr. Chisholm. As such, Dr. Chisholm is an active member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association, and regularly attends courses and conferences both locally and abroad to ensure she is always providing the highest standard of care. Dr. Chisholm is comfortable treating kids and adults of all ages, and speaks both English and French.
When not practicing dentistry, you can find Dr. Chisholm playing the piano, practicing yoga, enjoying a round of golf, or just spending time in the beautiful outdoors. She also enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Will Irvine
Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, Dr. Will Irvine developed a passion for dentistry early in life. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Biology at Laurentian University in 2021 before attending the University of Toronto to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2025.
After graduation, Dr. Irvine returned to Sudbury, where he worked in both private practice and in a hospital setting. During his time at the hospital, he provided dental and oral medicine care to patients with cancer and those with complex medical histories.
He is dedicated to lifelong learning and staying current with advancements in dentistry. He has completed continuing education in several areas, including oral surgery and endodontics, to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care.
Dr. Irvine values developing long-term relationships with his patients, and is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care. He is delighted to provide dental care to the Halifax community, as well as continue to grow within a profession he is truly passionate about.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Irvine enjoys playing hockey, golf, and spending time with his dog Milo.
